feat: commit the built index so the marketplace has a home off GitHub Pages 
The index was built by GitHub Actions and published to GitHub Pages, so it died
with the hosting account and SPLENT_INDEX_URL pointed at nothing. Until a Forgejo
Actions runner is registered, the index is built locally with marketplace:index
and committed here, which the forge serves as raw content at a stable URL.

Covers 42 features and 4 SPLs. Three sources are absent because they carry no
released tag yet: edition_staff, editions and survey.

splent_index

The published SPLENT marketplace index.

index.json is a regenerable cache derived from the real sources of truth: each feature's auto-generated [tool.splent.contract] (read from pyproject.toml at its latest released tag) plus the SPL catalog (splent_catalog, UVL variability models). Nothing here is edited by hand — if the index is ever stale or wrong, it is simply rebuilt.

How it works

  • Publishing a feature = releasing it. splent feature:release tags the repo; this index picks the tag up on the next build. There is no upload, no login, and no publish API.
  • The build is one CLI command: splent marketplace:index --registry registry.toml --output public/index.json, run by CI on every push, every 6 hours, and on demand.
  • Third-party features are curated, not uploaded: release on your own GitHub org, then open a pull request adding your org or repo to registry.toml. The indexer validates contracts at build time.

Consuming the index

The splent CLI (feature:search, feature:info) and the marketplace web app read the same file. Point any workspace at the published copy:
